Job summary

Right Recruit Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, plan resources, and ensure on-time shipments in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in logistics, with hands-on involvement in inventory control, SOP adherence, and cross-functional coordination with freight forwarders and transport providers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics or related field.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in logistics, shipping or warehouse operations.
• Experience coordinating freight forwarders, customs brokers and transport providers.
• Familiar with SAP, Oracle or other ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Review, plan and assign resources to meet daily shipments and production needs.
• Guide and coach team members on warehouse operations and safety.
• Monitor daily inventory movements and ensure records are updated in the system.
• Escalate critical logistics issues and coordinate with stakeholders for timely resolution.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure adherence to SOPs, safety and controls.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory reviews to identify obsolete or excess materials.
• Maintain accurate logistics, shipping, inventory, and customs records for audits.
• Manage warehouse capacity, storage utilization and workflow efficiency.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor changes in import/export regulations and communicate impacts.
• Optimize shipping and logistics processes to improve efficiency and service.

Our client (MNC)is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing company for Medical devices and Automotive industries.

Responsibilities

• Daily review, plan and assign resources based on work priorities. Manage and ensure fulfilling daily shipments, production requirements and related activities.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members in resolving day-to-day warehouse and operational issues, including safety.
• Monitor daily inventory movements and ensure all transactions are updated accurately and on time in the system.
• Escalate critical logistics issues promptly and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor key logistics and warehouse performance indicators, ensure daily activities are adhering to SOPs, work instructions, safety and operational controls.
• Conduct frequent cycle counts and inventory reviews to ensure inventory accuracy and identify obsolete, slow-moving, or excess materials.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and organized logistics, shipping, warehouse, inventory, and customs records for audit purpose.
• Monitor and manage warehouse capacity, storage utilization and workflow efficiency to support current and future business requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by ensuring compliance with established SOPs, safety, regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Monitor changes in customs, trade, and import/export regulations and communicate relevant operational impacts to the relevant departments.
• Optimize shipping, import/export, and logistics processes to improve efficiency and service performance.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• Min 3–5 years of relevant supervisory experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations, preferably within manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating freight forwarders, customs brokers and transport providers.
• Familiar with SAP, Oracle or other MRP/ERP systems.
