Job summary

Leica Geosystems is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to manage service orders, coordinate with technicians and logistics, and ensure timely dispatch to customers. You will monitor pricing, quotations, and maintenance backlogs while driving process improvements within a multinational manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Business/Logistics/Materials Eng with 2–5 years of relevant experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Business/Logistics/Materials Eng. with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on technical background is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge receipt of used goods for repairs and verify contents.
• Manage service order processes and ensure compliance with import/export guidelines.
• Plan service orders, coordinate with technicians, warehouse, planning and logistics to meet deadlines.
• Monitor pricing on service orders to align with price lists.
• Prepare and track repair quotations and responses to customers.
• Track maintenance backlog and inform customers of delays.
• Create service orders from sold contracts and manage maintenance calls.
• Drive process improvements and implement workflow systems to boost efficiency.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

We are looking for an experienced Service Coordinator to join Leica Geosystems, a part of Hexagon AB that provides innovative solutions for the Surveying, Buildings, and Heavy Construction industries.

Job Description

• Perform timely acknowledgement to customers on used goods receipt for repairs and co-ordinate/ perform checks on the physical contents of these returns
• Manage the service order process and ensuring the corporate guidelines on importing and exporting shipment are adhered to
• Plan service orders, liaise with service technicians, warehouse, planning, logistics operations and selling unit to fulfil the agreed deadlines and ensure timely dispatch of service orders to customers
• Monitor the pricing on billing requests for service orders to ensure that they are in line with the agreed price lists
• Ensure that repair quotations are raised to the customers as well as monitor the response
• Monitor the maintenance backlog on daily basis and inform customers of any delays
• Manage the maintenance call process including the creation of service orders from sold contracts
• Drive process improvements and implement workflow systems to optimize efficiency and enhance productivity
• Perform ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business/Logistics/Materials Engineering with at least 2-5 years’ relevant working experience preferably in an MNC manufacturing environment
• Prior hands-on technical background will be advantageous
• Dynamic, self-motivated and able to build close relationships with internal and external customers
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure as to meet shipment deadline
• Good written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to communicate in any Asian languages will be an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Words and Power Point applications
• SAP Knowledge preferred
