You will ensure efficient workflow, monitor shifts, and drive safety compliance across the operation. The role requires 3–5 years in a production supervisory capacity, strong planning knowledge, and the ability to motivate a diverse team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide training and guidance to staff to foster continuous improvement.
• Communicate production performance, challenges and opportunities to management.
• Maintain production records and documentation in line with procedures.
• Address operational issues promptly and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with planning teams to optimise efficiency and meet deadlines.

About the role

As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, managing team performance, and maintaining quality standards whilst meeting production targets. This role is integral to our manufacturing operations and directly contributes to our company's success and reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules
• Monitor production output, quality standards, and safety compliance throughout all shifts
• Allocate work assignments and resources to maximise productivity and meet daily production targets
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment and finished products to identify and address quality issues
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff
• Provide training, guidance and support to production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively with management regarding production performance, challenges and opportunities
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation in compliance with company procedures
• Address operational issues promptly and elevate concerns to senior management when necessary
• Collaborate with planning and scheduling teams to optimise production efficiency and meet customer deadlines

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of proven experience in a production supervisory or senior production role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of production processes, scheduling, and planning methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of production workers
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Sound understanding of quality assurance principles and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying operational improvements
• Proficiency in using production planning software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly across all levels
• A commitment to health and safety standards and a track record of maintaining a safe workplace
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in production management or manufacturing are preferred
