You will conduct routine maintenance, inspect finished products, record data, and support safe, compliant manufacturing while contributing to continuous improvement and teamwork. This is a full-time position in a dynamic plant environment.

• Ability to operate machinery and understand mechanical processes.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, blueprints and work instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift materials.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Certifications in manufacturing or engineering are advantageous.

About the role

This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Production Technician, you will be at the heart of our assembly and process work, contributing directly to the delivery of our products and the success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and output
• Performing assembly tasks with precision and attention to detail, following established procedures and specifications
• Conducting routine maintenance checks on equipment to identify and report any issues or potential breakdowns
• Inspecting finished products for quality assurance, identifying defects and ensuring compliance with standards
• Recording production data, machine readings and other relevant information accurately
• Supporting the preparation of workstations and ensuring materials are available for production runs
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
• Adhering to health, safety and environmental guidelines at all times
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and providing feedback on process optimisation

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Production Technician or in a similar assembly and process work role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to operate machinery and understand mechanical processes
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
• Solid understanding of health and safety protocols in manufacturing settings
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, blueprints and work instructions
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, with willingness to collaborate across departments
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in manufacturing, engineering or related fields are advantageous
