Our client (MNC) is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing company for Medical devices and Automotive industries. They are actively seeking for Assistant Director, Operations.
Direct, manage, and optimize overall site operations and financial performance of the business unit.
Lead production site management to ensure cost-efficient manufacturing within defined quality and safety standards while achieving on-time order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
Determine operational direction and ensure achievement of production goals related to volume, quality, schedule adherence, and operational effectiveness.
Develop, sustain, and improve product quality and performance standards, implementing quality control procedures to meet or exceed customer specifications.
Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, products, equipment, and tools to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource and capacity utilization.
Maximize machine efficiency and plant capacity through effective planning and resource management.
Address and resolve product quality issues in a timely manner.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive operational excellence initiatives.
Generate, monitor, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve plant performance and decision-making.
Provide leadership, employee motivation, coaching, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Operations/Business or a related field
Min 7 years of experience in manufacturing/operations leadership role
Strong, strategic, and analytical problem-solving skills, strong ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems independently, and deliver tangible results rather than relying on positional authority
Results and execution-oriented with strong process and project experience
Precision Engineering Sector with Plastic Injection Molding experience
Proven track record of P&L management and business growth
