The Mathematics Department

In Forms 1 to 2 (English National Curriculum Years 7 to 8), pupils follow an enhanced version of the English National Curriculum.

Investigative activities are included throughout the year and contribute to pupils' final marks.

Pupils in Form 3 (Year 9), Forms 4 and 5 (Years 10 and 11) are prepared for the Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics examination (without coursework).

This approach allows the department to challenge the most able pupils, support those who require it, and provide a varied and engaging learning experience.
