Jobtailor is seeking a CMDB Administrator to support the Lansweeper platform and ensure the CMDB inventory is accurate and reconciled with assets. You will develop governance metrics, dashboards, and technical documentation while collaborating with IT teams.

The role focuses on CMDB governance, data cleansing, and supporting audit/compliance activities across IT infrastructure.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, information systems or related field (in progress or completed).
• Demonstrated experience with a CMDB and ITIL processes.
• Hands-on Lansweeper experience and asset discovery.
• Experience analyzing and cleansing asset databases.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation.

• Administer and maintain the Lansweeper platform
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and currency of CMDB records
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies between the inventory and the CMDB
• Execute data reconciliation and cleansing processes
• Create and maintain technical and management reports related to IT assets
• Develop queries, dashboards, and CMDB governance metrics
• Support audit and compliance processes related to technology assets
• Integrate Lansweeper, Freshworks, and other corporate tools
• Define and maintain classification, naming, and relationship standards for Configuration Items (CIs)
• Conduct impact and dependency analyses across services, applications, and infrastructure
• Support Change, Incident, Problem, and Asset Management processes
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and configuration policies
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, Security, and Application teams
• Participate in the evolution of the CMDB architecture and associated automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience with a CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly Configuration Management and Asset Management
• Hands-on experience with Lansweeper
• Experience with inventory management and automated discovery of infrastructure assets
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, DNS, Active Directory, and data center infrastructure
• Experience analyzing and cleansing asset databases
• Analytical ability to investigate inconsistencies and support data governance
• Experience preparing technical documentation

Demonstrates expertise in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) administration, data reconciliation, and IT asset management, with a strong understanding of ITIL processes and hands-on experience with Lansweeper.
