About the Role

The Government Relations Manager will be part of the Public Affairs (Government and Public Relations) team, with direct report to the Senior Director. We are looking for a resilient and multi-tasking experienced professional to support our business, identify and mitigate political and regulatory risks and foster the positive impacts of SHEIN in Brazil.

Responsibilities

• Support business teams in executing our growth strategy by engaging with key authorities across different branches and levels of government, as well as stakeholders such as NGOs, civil society organizations, and academic institutions.
• Manage the SHEIN Foundation’s corporate social responsibility projects in Brazil.
• Monitor and support government relations activities of SHEIN in other priority markets in the region.
• Conduct research and benchmarking on international government relations issues and social/economic impact indicators
• Develop and review government relations KPIs and OKRs.

Qualifications

• Degree in International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Economics, or a related field
• Advanced level for both written and oral English is a requirement
• At least 5 years of working experience in government relations or public policy relevant to tax, trade, and e-commerce, with prior experience in a tech company as an advantage
• Experience in policy research, development, and analysis
• Capacity for advocacy work
• Keen interest to translate policy/regulatory engagements into tangible commercial outcomes
• Strong analytical, presentation (written and oral), and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Resilience and ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced organizational structure.
