Job summary

SHEIN Brazil is seeking a Senior Warehouse Layout Engineer to lead planning and design for new facilities and expansions. You will work with Operations and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable layouts that improve throughput and space utilization.

You will collect and analyze data, evaluate automation options, and build business cases balancing CAPEX/OPEX and ROI. Fluent English and 5+ years in warehouse planning are required; AutoCAD and data analytics skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years in warehouse planning or logistics solution design.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations and capacity planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar layout-design software.
• Proficiency in English.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, IT, Planning, HR, Procurement, Quality, and vendors.
• Own milestones, risks and communication; escalate blockers.
• Produce an initial workable solution and iterate with feedback.
• Support implementation, go-live and post-launch validation.
• Drive continuous improvement to achieve benefits.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse planning and layout design for new facilities, expansions, retrofits and operational-improvement projects.
• Independently engage Operations and relevant stakeholders to understand end-to-end processes, pain points, productivity, capacity constraints and future business requirements.
• Collect and validate operational data, including inbound/outbound volumes, SKU profiles, inventory, UPH, workstation capacity, equipment throughput, utilization and labor productivity.
• Convert business requirements and operational data into practical, scalable and implementable warehouse layouts and process solutions.
• Research warehouse technologies, automation solutions, material-handling equipment, suppliers and industry best practices.
• Develop business cases balancing operational efficiency, implementation feasibility, CAPEX/OPEX, ROI and future scalability.
• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Safety, Automation, IT, Planning, HR, Procurement, Quality, Properties and external vendors.
• Own project milestones, risks, stakeholder communication and delivery; proactively escalte missing information or blockers.
• Produce an initial workable solution quickly, gather feedback and iterate until the solution is implementation-ready.
• Support implementation, go-live stabilization and post-launch performance validation.
• Drive continuous improvement after implementation and ensure committed operational benefits are achieved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Production Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse planning, layout design, industrial engineering or logistics solution design.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, material flow, capacity planning, workforce productivity and process bottlenecks.
• Proven experience using AutoCAD or equivalent layout-design software.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis capability; Power BI, SQL or simulation experience is preferred.
• Experience with warehouse automation, storage systems and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to independently validate assumptions and translate incomplete business information into actionable solutions.
• Strong stakeholder-management, project-management and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ownership, proactive communication and ability to deliver and revise solutions quickly.
• Ability to balance an ideal engineering solution with operational and financial reality.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
