Corteva in Brazil seeks an experienced agronomy specialist to support Crop Protection portfolio for major crops such as soybean, corn and cotton. You will train teams, analyze agronomic trials and coordinate regional agronomy activities with Sales and Marketing.

The role requires 3–5 years of field agronomy experience, strong knowledge of soybean/corn/cotton systems, and ability to deliver technical content. Master’s degrees are a plus; English proficiency is desirable.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Be the technical support point of contact for Sales and Marketing in the region.

• Support the technical and region-specific positioning of Corteva’s Crop Protection portfolio for major crops, including soybeans, corn, and cotton.
• Enhance Corteva’s technical knowledge and expertise through a deep understanding of customers’ technical needs within their production systems.
• Serve as the technical support point of contact for Corteva’s Sales and Marketing teams within the assigned region.
• Deliver training sessions and develop agronomic content for internal and external audiences.
• Plan and coordinate product and crop-management trials on contracted sites, through consultants and/or sales representatives.
• Coordinate and conduct Agronomy Tours in the region.
• Assist in investigating cases involving product performance and/or agronomic issues.
• Connect regional technical demands with Marketing, Sales, and Research strategies to develop the agronomy work plan.
• Provide technical support to Sales through key initiatives aligned with the Sales and Commercial teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Agronomy or Agricultural Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience providing agronomic support to customers, with strong technical knowledge of soybean, corn, and cotton production systems, including factors that influence growers’ decisions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability to change, and communication skills for delivering technical training and presentations.
• Experience planning, conducting, and analyzing data from agronomic trials is preferred.
• Knowledge of cotton production is preferred.
• Proficiency in English is a plus.
• A master’s degree in Crop Science, Weed Science, Entomology, Plant Pathology, or a related field is a plus.
