Overview

Beekman 1802 is hiring an Executive Director of Ecommerce to join the world's biggest goat milk beauty company. We are a skin health company based on the clinical science of two ingredients Goat Milk + Kindness. We create safe, yet effective, skin and body care that's Kind to sensitive skin and the microbiome. We are proud to be sold in thousands of retailers across the country including Ulta, Amazon, Beekman1802.com, QVC/HSN, and internationally.

Job Location: Home - Home, NY   Position Type: Full Time   Salary Range: $170000.00 - $200000.00   Travel Percentage: Negligible   Job Shift: M-F, Days

This role will bring visionary, brand-smart leadership to our performance media, CRM, loyalty, merchandising, site, marketplace, and retention strategies. They will be responsible for delivering an emotionally resonant, high-converting flagship experience while ensuring operational excellence, innovation, and long-term strategic expansion. This role is directly accountable for a substantial portion of the brand's total revenue and plays a critical role in shaping its ongoing commercial trajectory.

This position will direct all eCommerce businesses and marketplaces (TikTok, Amazon) and support international expansion. This role manages the operations across content, P&L, technology, marketing and oversees Customer Service. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing both internal and external stakeholders in consumer-packaged goods to drive digital growth, while achieving financial, marketing, and brand objectives. While this position is fully remote in accepted locations, Beekman 1802’s working hours are EST/CST.

  • Strategically direct ecommerce, Amazon, TikTok, and emerging Marketplaces
  • Lead DTC Growth including owning media advertising budget and creative strategy (in coordination with Brand Marketing team and paid media agency)
  • Lead three managers and one director in retention, customer service, sales (ecomm and marketplaces), and performance marketing and their respective teams.
  • Analyze customer traffic, browsing, and purchase behaviors to develop the deepest understanding of the customer experience.
  • Manage e-commerce product launch pipeline within Shopify, NetSuite, and AvaTax to ensure go-to-market readiness.
  • Use available tools and data to construct, maintain, distribute and enhance dashboards and reporting for main digital and eCommerce KPIs.
  • Support your supervisor in preparing Board-level presentations and growth plans
  • Work cross-functionally with Creative, Brand, Operations, and Planning teams to ensure operational excellence of all digital launches and promotions.
  • Plan, implement, and analyze A/B tests, heatmaps, and click tracking on website features and/or digital creative.
  • Identify conversion and retention opportunities to digital marketing channel leads.
About You + Considerations
  • 8+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital growth and marketing within beauty, skincare and/or lifestyle category
  • Extensive experience leading P&Ls and growing digital revenue across DTC & Marketplaces
  • Strong knowledge of the current e-commerce and digital marketing environments with an eye towards up-and-coming digital strategies
  • Strong understanding of paid media / growth strategies
  • Deep fluency in performance media, CRM, analytics, and user experience
  • Proven track record in driving e-commerce growth, customer acquisition and retention
  • Highly analytical with strong data analysis skills to derive meaning from A/B testing, CRO, and attribution models
  • Exceptional team leadership, and stakeholder management
  • Strong leader with flexibility and ability to move and lead quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem-solver and strategic thinker with an ability to come up with out-of-the-box strategies
  • Superb, proactive executive communication skills - verbal, written, internal/external
  • Customer service focused and solution oriented
  • Familiarity with industry e-commerce, project management, and digital tools (e.g. Shopify Liquid, Klaviyo, Postscript, Tatari/Fuego, Asana, etc.)
  • A positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (eg Prime Day, BFCM, etc)

An eligible candidate would be a resident of one of the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington, or Wisconsin.

The base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000, depending on skills and experience levels.
