StoneTurn is seeking a qualified Analyst (Consultant) to join its Business Intelligence and Investigations Practice.

Job Summary

StoneTurn's Business Intelligence and Investigations practice provides services to Fortune 100 companies, leading investment funds, law firms, financial institutions, government agencies and nonprofit organizations.

We work with a drive to help our clients determine facts, identify and manage hidden risks.

In this role you will be responsible for conducting investigative research to support a broad range of matters, including due diligence, litigation support, asset tracing and fraud investigations.

You will be responsible for research of a wide range of public record databases, including commercial and proprietary databases, assessing findings, synthesizing information and drafting comprehensive, and concise reports.

You will also conduct document reviews in the context of investigations and analysis of other relevant information in the context of investigations, utilizing various technology solutions.

You will add value to our team by possessing a demonstrated ability to strategize, prioritize and execute.

You will have strong analytical and problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail.

This position also requires you to be a person with strong interpersonal, communication and report‑writing skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist to define goals / objectives for an assignment, develop investigative strategies and determine research parameters;
  • Conduct analytical research utilizing various proprietary databases and public record resources;
  • Establish search parameters and coordinate onsite record checks;
  • Review, assess and synthesize data from a variety of sources;
  • Conduct electronic data reviews and searches in the context of investigations, by utilizing forensic technology tools;
  • Identify relevant information and develop leads for further investigation;
  • Draft comprehensive and concise written reports detailing research results and key findings;
  • Participate in business development activities, such as client meetings, and assist with proposals and other client material.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant experience conducting due diligence investigations and / or comparable investigative work
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to multi‑task
  • Commitment to exemplary client service and deadline delivery
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Portuguese to a professional level.
  • Must be based in Sao Paulo and expected to work from the Sao Paulo office at least three days per week.
  • Must be flexible with work schedule and travel requirements of client service projects including international assignments

Spanish is a plus.
