Job summary

Bahrain Surf Park is seeking a Retail Assistant to be the face of our surf retail store, delivering first-class guest service, driving daily sales, and supporting store operations near the Wavepool. You will handle stock, merchandising, and POS duties while maintaining an inviting, customer-centric environment that reflects our Waves for All ethos.

Fluent English is required; Arabic is a plus, with 1–2 years in surf or activewear retail preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years’ retail sales or customer service experience (surfshops/activewear/high-volume leisure preferred).
• Demonstrated experience with POS payment terminals and basic cash handling.
• Knowledge of or interest in surfing, water sports, and beach apparel is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver a customer-centric store experience.
• Assist in achieving daily and monthly sales targets; upsell apparel and gear.
• Provide accurate information on surf apparel, hardware, accessories and park merchandise.
• Operate the POS; handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Maintain store visuals, stock and merchandising; assist with stock handling and audits.
• Collaborate with Guest Services, Surf Operations and Marketing for cohesive guest experience.
