Job summary

Deloitte Belgium is seeking a Senior Consultant in M&A Strategy to support medium to large corporations and investors at C‑level with growth and value creation strategies. You will engage in due diligence, synergy reviews, carve-outs, and post-merger integration initiatives, working closely with the Transactions Services team.

You will build financial and operational analyses, interact with management, and help develop new service offerings while driving client relationships and opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial/strategy consulting, corporate finance/M&A, or related fields.
• MBA or a Master’s degree in business, economics or finance.
• Strong interest in corporate finance, M&A and data driven analyses.
• Advanced financial, analytical and synthesis skills.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly to clients; proactive mindset.
• Team player with hands-on approach and decisive action.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions with management and collaborate with industry experts to gain insights for clients.
• Analyze complex financial, operational and market data to derive clear, client-ready conclusions.
• Build data-driven financial factbooks to support discussions.
• Create impactful storylines to communicate outcomes of analyses clearly.
• Coordinate project deliverables with the team and manage client relationships.
• Develop and shape new service offerings with management.
