Deloitte Belgium’s Global Business Tax team seeks an M&A Consultant to join a knowledgeable, diverse group focused on Belgian and cross-border transactions. You will participate in due diligence, tax structuring and advisory work for investments in funds or other vehicles, with a strong emphasis on corporate tax within the broader tax landscape.

Qualifications

• You are passionate about tax and want to understand related legal, finance and accounting aspects.
• You have a drive to understand drivers of a target business and a successful M&A transaction.

Responsabilités

• Be part of a diverse team, contributing ideas and solutions.
• Work on Belgian and cross-border M&A projects, including due diligence and tax structuring.
• Advise on set-up of investments in funds or other vehicles.
• Focus on corporate tax while considering VAT, personal tax and real estate transfer tax in M&A transactions.
• Collaborate with M&A colleagues and experts in Deloitte offices abroad.
• Gain insights into successful M&A transactions and interact with clients and advisors.
• Analyze Belgian and international tax issues in context and offer recommendations.
