Job summary

Deloitte Belgium in Wallonia is seeking a Manager M&A Transaction Services to lead due diligence engagements and shape the financial narrative for family-owned clients. You will own valuation and deal structure, and collaborate with clients and advisors to drive transaction success.

The role requires a Master’s degree and at least five years in financial due diligence and M&A advisory, with strong numerical skills and the ability to lead a team and develop business.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial due diligence and M&A advisory.
• Affinity with M&A & Corporate Finance market.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Independent, solution- and goal-oriented thinker with project management skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence across levels; French and English fluency; Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial due diligence projects from kick-off to closing, identifying risks, value drivers and opportunities.
• Analyze target company financials, working capital and earnings quality; translate findings into actionable insights.
• Engage directly with clients, Target management and other advisors.
• Lead valuation workstreams and advise on deal structure and financing.
• Mentor and manage a team of consultants and coordinate with cross-functional colleagues.
• Expand client relationships and identify opportunities within and beyond Deloitte network.
