Job summary

Deloitte Belgium’s Global Business Tax – M&A team is seeking an experienced M&A Tax Consultant to support Belgian and cross-border transactions. You will work with clients, funds and other Deloitte professionals on due diligence, tax structuring and post-transaction considerations.

You will be part of a diverse team focused on corporate tax, VAT and related taxes, collaborating across Deloitte offices and countries to deliver value and insight throughout the M&A lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of tax experience.
• Degree in business-related discipline (law or economics) required.
• Willing to be part of a team and continuously invest in communication, business and tax skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on Belgian and cross-border M&A projects, including due diligence and tax structuring.
• Advise on the set-up of investments in funds or other investment vehicles.
• Focus on corporate tax while understanding VAT, personal tax and real estate transfer tax aspects.
• Interact with clients and other Deloitte advisors.
• Analyze and make recommendations on complex Belgian and international tax issues.
