Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Director for Commercial EMEA Clinical Next-Generation Sequencing (CSD) to craft sales strategy, set profitability goals, and drive results across the EMEA Clinical Sequencing business. This role collaborates with division functions to ensure customer happiness and ends-to-end sales performance.

The ideal leader has deep experience in clinical molecular diagnostics, preferably NGS, with oncology, translational research, and applied clinical markets.

Qualifications

• Outstanding leadership and sales management characteristics, with a proven track record of developing and growing a large sales organization in a matrix environment.
• Multiple years’ commercial experience in the healthcare industry (pathology lab, oncology, or molecular biology).
• Ability to identify commercial opportunities and develop ambitious and innovative commercial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Build the roadmap for the CSD EMEA commercial team including sales positioning and go-to-market strategies to achieve financial objectives.
• Establish strategic relationships with customers, industry experts, and key opinion leaders.
• Responsible for revenue, margin, customer satisfaction, and market share goals; exceed revenue targets.
• Lead forecasting processes, funnel management, and business intelligence to support growth.
• Develop pricing guidelines and strategies for product bundling, promotions, and discounts.
• Grow distributor relationships in emerging markets and lead the strategy to realize growth opportunities.
