Job summary

The Artistocrats in Hasselt, Belgium, is seeking a Game Designer with several years of professional experience to contribute to our strategy titles and upcoming DLC for Starship Troopers: Terran Command.

You will design and implement new units, abilities and gameplay systems, collaborate with programmers and our Game Director, and help shape the audiovisual experience of our games within a dynamic, creative team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with and understanding of real-time strategy games and mechanics.
• Professional proficiency in English or Dutch (spoken and written).
• Ability to work full-time on-site at our Hasselt studio.
• 2+ years of professional experience as a Game Designer.
• Basic proficiency in C# programming/scripting.
• Basic proficiency with Unity.

Responsibilities

• Work with our programmers to design, implement and test new game mechanics
• Design, implement and balance new player units, enemies and abilities
• Design and play-test new levels and missions
• Work with our Game Director to help shape the audiovisual experience of our games
