Job summary

New Balance is seeking a Store Manager to lead a high-performing team in our Antwerp retail location. You will manage daily store operations, guide staff on sales techniques, engagement, and customer education, and ensure exceptional service from the moment customers enter.

You will drive targets, oversee HR duties, scheduling, and loss prevention while upholding health and safety standards. A customer-centric, detail-oriented leader with English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Team player with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage people and teams.
• Strong customer service skills and sales focus.
• Fluency in English for customer interaction and team communication.
• Familiarity with POS systems and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive and motivate your team to achieve store targets.
• Lead by example on the shop floor and back of house.
• Ensure adherence to policies, merchandising, stock control and loss prevention.
• Execute retail initiatives and strategic store changes.
• Analyze store performance and adjust to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Deliver total customer satisfaction through the service model and upsell through customer experience.
• Coordinate staff rota and scheduling.
• Minimize losses through strict loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental standards in store.
• Oversee in-store HR operations: recruitment, onboarding, payroll, training and development.
• Handle inquiries and escalate customer complaints appropriately.
• Share feedback with Senior Management and implement improvements.
