Randstad in Belgium seeks a Sickness & Absence Operations Specialist to lead end-to-end management of long-term sickness cases and reintegration within a multinational biopharma setting.

You will coordinate payroll coding with external providers, maintain data quality across HRIS systems, and build dashboards in Power BI and Excel to monitor absence trends and financial impacts. Fluency in French, Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in HR Operations, Payroll Administration, or Absence Management in Belgium.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation regarding sickness, work accidents, and insurance schemes.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English (written & spoken).
• Hands-on experience with Belgian payroll and HRIS tools; advanced Excel/Power BI skills.

Responsabilités

• Case Management (+30 days): End-to-end coordination of long-term absence files, tracking milestones and return-to-work pathways.
• Payroll & Insurance Coordination: Ensure accurate payroll coding in partnership with external providers.
• HR Systems & Data: Maintain data quality across HRIS and time-tracking systems (SuccessFactors, eBlox, myProtime, Neocase, Oasys).
• Reporting & Analytics: Build interactive dashboards (Power BI/Excel) to track absence trends and financial impacts.
• Empathic Stakeholder Support: Serve as a trusted contact for absent employees, managers, and medical services.

About the Role

Are you an HR Operations or Payroll Specialist with expertise in Belgian sickness, long-term absence (+30 days), and work accident management?

Our client, a top-tier international biopharmaceutical company, is looking for a Sickness & Absence Operations Specialist to lead the end-to-end operational and administrative follow-up of long-term sickness and reintegration cases in Belgium.

What You Will Do

• Case Management (+30 days): End-to-end coordination of long-term absence files, tracking legal milestones and return-to-work pathways.
• Payroll & Insurance Coordination: Ensure accurate payroll coding (guaranteed salary, mutuelle, Plan de Prévoyance/disability allowance) in partnership with external providers (Partena, AXA, Allianz).
• HR Systems & Data: Maintain flawless data quality across HRIS and time-tracking systems (SuccessFactors, eBlox, myProtime, Neocase, Oasys).
• Reporting & Analytics: Build interactive dashboards (Power BI/Excel) to track absence trends and financial impacts.
• Empathic Stakeholder Support: Act as a trusted, clear point of contact for absent employees, managers, and medical services.

Who We Are Looking For

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in HR Operations, Payroll Administration, or Absence Management in Belgium.
• Expertise: Strong command of Belgian payroll legislation regarding sickness, work accidents, and insurance schemes.
• Languages: Trilingual fluency in French, Dutch, and English (written & spoken).
• Systems Savvy: Hands-on experience with Belgian payroll and HRIS tools, with strong Excel/Power BI skills.
