Planet Pharma is seeking a Freelance Sickness & Absence Operations Specialist in Belgium for an 8–9 month engagement (potential to extend). The role focuses on operational management of long-term sickness and absence, reintegration, and work‑accident processes, ensuring deadlines, data accuracy, and compliant payroll treatment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in HR Operations and payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll rules for sickness and work accidents.
• High accuracy, structured approach and ability to handle deadlines.
• Proficient with HR systems such as SuccessFactors, Neocase, and Power BI.

Responsabilités

• Track legal and process milestones and ensure audit-ready files.
• Maintain accurate data across HR and payroll systems.
• Ensure consistency between time registration, HR systems and payroll.
• Act as digital super-user for sickness and reintegration tools.
• Flag upcoming deadlines and automate workflow triggers.
• Identify tasks suitable for automation and contribute to digital improvements.
• Apply correct payroll treatment for sickness and work-accident cases.
• Support administrative follow-up of work-accident files with insurers.
• Communicate clearly with employees, managers and HR partners.
• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reporting and dashboards (Excel, Power BI).
• Ensure compliance with Belgian legislation and internal policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools and checklists.
