Randstad is seeking a Senior HR Expert – Employee Relations, Off-boarding & Reintegration to lead complex exit processes and employee relations in Belgium. You will negotiate exit packages, handle grievances, and guide reintegration efforts for intricate medical cases.

The role requires 8–10+ years of HR/Labor Law experience, fluency in French, Dutch, and English, and a pragmatic, empathetic leadership style. Freelance or consultancy options are available, with a June 2027 end date.

About the Role

Are you a Senior HR & Labor Law Expert with 8+ years of experience navigating complex Belgian employment law, union negotiations, and sensitive employee relations?

What You Will Do

• Off-boarding & Negotiations: Lead exit processes up to Senior Manager level, calculate exit packages, and negotiate directly with employees, unions, and legal advisors.
• Complex Employee Relations: Manage grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution with legal rigor and empathy.
• Reintegration & Medical Cases: Personally guide complex return-to-work pathways and lead exit conversations linked to medical force majeure.
• Digital Transformation & Governance: Act as the process owner, driving workflow automation and data-driven insights (Power BI) to modernize HR operations.
• Union & Stakeholder Relations: Build trusted relationships with business leaders, union reps, and occupational health services.

Who We Are Looking For

• Experience: 8 to 10+ years in HR / Labor Law with deep expertise in Belgian social legislation.
• Skills: Proven track record in negotiating exit packages, handling disciplinary matters, and managing complex long-term illness cases.
• Languages: Trilingual fluency in French, Dutch, and English (written & spoken).
