Job summary

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking an Associate HR Systems Officer - Payroll & Absence Management for its HR Systems Unit in Luxembourg. This full-time temporary role focuses on Payroll and Absence Management within Oracle Cloud HCM and PeopleSoft HCM as part of the HRIS program, with responsibilities spanning analysis, configuration, testing, and user support.

Qualifications

• University degree (Bachelor) in IT or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with HRIS implementations or administration.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM or PeopleSoft HCM.
• Knowledge of payroll processes and HR data analysis.
• Ability to write SQL queries for data extraction and validation.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French, with knowledge of another EU language a plus.
• Certification in Oracle Cloud HCM is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document functional requirements for Oracle Cloud HCM and PeopleSoft HCM modules.
• Translate business needs into system configurations and functional specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans; coordinate UAT with HR stakeholders.
• Coordinate quarterly Oracle Cloud HCM releases, including impact analysis and deployment.
• Maintain configuration documentation and release notes.
• Serve as liaison between HR, GIS, and external vendors; ensure timely milestones.
