Tenos is seeking a Freelance Payroll Specialist to manage the payroll cycle for approximately 300 employees in the Brussels region. Responsibilities include monitoring time registration, collaborating with the Shared Service Center on HR administration, and preparing reports for management. The ideal candidate has proven experience with payroll processing, SAP HR, Workday, and Salesforce, and is fluent in Dutch and English. The contract is freelance, starting in June for a duration of 10 months, with some remote work flexibility.

Freelance Payroll Specialist – Region Brussels (Ref. 1655)

For a renowned international player in the industrial sector, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Payroll Specialist. In this role you will report directly to the Belux Payroll Manager and be part of a dynamic HR team.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage the full payroll cycle (A–Z) for approximately 300 employees (blue- and white-collar) in collaboration with SD Worx and within SAP HR.
• Monitor, analyze and optimize the time registration system.
• Collaborate with the international Shared Service Center on HR administration (personnel files, contracts, simulations and policies) via Workday and Salesforce.
• Prepare and deliver accurate reporting for management.
• Act as a point of contact and sparring partner for management and employees on payroll-related matters.
• Initiate and implement process improvements with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Your profile:

• Proven experience with end-to-end payroll processing and time registration systems.
• Experience with SAP HR, Workday and Salesforce is a strong asset.
• Solid knowledge of social legislation.
• Fluent in Dutch and English with a good command of French.
• Proactive, eager to learn and service-oriented mindset.
