Job summary

D-ploy GmbH is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer to deliver hands-on IT support in Ghent, Belgium. You will handle hardware, software, and devices, troubleshoot incidents, and assist with user onboarding while documenting activities in the ticketing system.

The role requires 2+ years in IT support, strong Windows troubleshooting, and ServiceNow experience. Fluent English is required, with Dutch/Flemish or French considered a strong advantage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or Onsite Support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments and standard workplace technologies.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.
• Fluent English required; Dutch, Flemish, or French is a strong advantage.
• Flexibility to occasionally support outside standard working hours if needed.
• Experience in regulated environments such as GxP is a plus.
• Ability to provide a clean criminal record extract (not older than 3 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second level onsite IT support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Support user onboarding, equipment setup, and standard workplace technologies.
• Document activities and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Work closely with internal IT teams and stakeholders.
• Take ownership of issues and support changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide professional and customer-focused support to end users.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement.
