Job summary

D-ploy GmbH in Ghent, Belgium is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer to deliver hands-on IT support in a dynamic client environment. You’ll handle hardware, software, and peripherals, and collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements include 2+ years in IT/Desktop/Onsite support, strong Windows troubleshooting, ServiceNow or similar ticketing experience, and excellent communication with fluent English.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT/Desktop/Onsite support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting in Windows environments and standard workplace tech.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.
• Fluent English; Dutch/Flemish or French is a strong advantage.
• Occasional after-hours support may be required.
• Experience in regulated environments (GxP) is a plus.
• Clean criminal record extract (not older than 3 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second level onsite IT support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Support user onboarding, equipment setup, and standard workplace technologies.
• Document activities and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Work closely with internal IT teams and stakeholders.
• Take ownership of issues and support changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide professional and customer-focused support to end users.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement.
