Job summary

Qplox engineering in Belgium is seeking an Advanced Lithography & Patterning Process Engineer to contribute to development and optimization of next-generation semiconductor patterning processes for memory and logic devices.

You will design, execute and analyze experiments to develop lithography and patterning solutions, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to translate results into robust process improvements and integration into manufacturing flows.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Electronics or a closely related field.
• Initial relevant professional experience in microelectronics or semiconductor processing.
• Experience in a semiconductor R&D or advanced manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong experimental and analytical skills with data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute experiments for advanced lithography and patterning process development.
• Develop, optimize patterning processes for memory and logic applications.
• Analyze data, identify limitations, troubleshoot and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with lithography, etch, metrology and process integration teams.
• Support integration of novel patterning processes and metrology techniques.
• Communicate results and progress to team leaders and customers.
• Maintain thorough documentation and manage multiple experiments.
