Pauwels Consulting is seeking an IT Support & System Engineer to maintain and improve the client's IT infrastructure. The role focuses on technical analysis, incident management, and ensuring the stability of critical systems in a dynamic environment.

You will troubleshoot Windows and Linux, monitor logs, coordinate incident responses, and support networking, integration, and service desk tooling. Start ASAP for a 6-month engagement, onsite in Antwerp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft Office.
• Basic experience with Linux systems and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and service management.
• Experience with networking, monitoring tools and log data management.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Our client, a major player in the maritime and logistics sector, is looking for an IT Support & System Engineer to maintain and improve their IT infrastructure. This role focuses on technical analysis, incident management, and ensuring the stability of critical systems within a dynamic environment.

• Troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems through log analysis and system commands.
• Monitor system logs and manage incidents to ensure operational reliability.
• Coordinate incident responses and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Support network systems, system integration, and service desk tooling.
• Execute technical scripts and perform analyses to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation following ITIL guidelines.

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT or have equivalent professional experience.
• You have knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft Office.
• You bring basic experience with Linux systems and troubleshooting.
• You possess understanding of ITIL processes and service management.
• You have experience with networking, monitoring tools, and log data management.
• You're analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of ServiceNow.
• Experience with Dynatrace monitoring.
• Familiarity with SharePoint.
