Editx is seeking a System Engineer for our client based in the port of Antwerp. You will join a small team and contribute to IT infrastructure projects, monitor servers, and provide 2nd and 3rd line support.

You should be a team player, eager to learn, and able to adapt to a rapidly evolving IT landscape. The role sits within the Information Systems team. You will manage servers, NAS, backups, VOIP, firewalls and network switches.

Qualifications

• Experience as System Engineer or similar role.
• Familiarity with server, NAS, firewall and VOIP systems.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to change.

Responsabilités

• Manage virtual servers, NAS systems, backups and VOIP systems.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for internal staff.
• Contribute to IT infrastructure projects and deployments.
• Maintain servers and suggest improvements.
• Deploy security patches and follow up on incidents.
• Participate in ICT policy enforcement and safety meetings.

For our client based in the port of Antwerp, we are looking for a System Engineer with some experience. This position is a creation of a new post, and you will part of a team of 5 people including you.

You will take part in IT infrastructure projects, monitor the status of servers and take necessary measures and also do 2nd & 3rd line support.

You are a real team player and are eager to learn new technologies and adapt in a rapidly evolving IT world.

You are physically part of the Information Systems team.

• You manage virtual servers, NAS systems, backup systems, VOIP systems, firewalls, network switches, etc,
• You participate in 2nd and 3rd line support for internal staff,
• You perform project work within the IT infrastructure,
• You maintain servers and suggest improvements,
• You deploy security patches, you follow up incidents,
• You work according to the ICT policies and working methods,
• You participate in internal meetings and safety meetings.
