Sander, a partner organisation with international IT operations, is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join a small, versatile team on site in Belgium. You’ll work across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, infrastructure, cloud and systems administration to keep services running smoothly.

You’ll collaborate with international IT engineers and external partners, contribute to IT projects, documentation and knowledge sharing, and bring a service-oriented mindset with fluent English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer or Service Engineer in an infrastructure-focused role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows environments.
• Comfortable working in an ITIL-based environment and using Jira for IT service management.
• Fluent English is essential; French and/or Dutch are a strong plus.

• Provide 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support, troubleshooting a broad range of hardware, software, endpoint and infrastructure issues.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Windows and endpoint environments.
• Manage user lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding and access management.
• Handle incidents, requests, problems and changes within an ITIL-based service environment, using Jira for ticket management.
• Work closely with international IT engineers, external providers and technical partners to resolve issues and maintain service quality.
• Contribute to IT projects, process improvements, documentation and knowledge sharing, while providing technical backup to the wider team.

As a Senior System Engineer, you will join a small and technically versatile IT team, working closely with engineers and colleagues across different countries. This is not a role limited to ticket resolution: you will work across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, infrastructure, cloud and systems administration, while contributing to the continuous improvement of the IT environment.

• Provide 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support, troubleshooting a broad range of hardware, software, endpoint and infrastructure issues.
