JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Onsite Support Specialist with 5-6 years of experience to support local IT operations. In this role, you will provide onsite technical assistance, helping ensure the smooth operation of workplace technology, endpoints, and network connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage Windows 11 endpoints. Modernize and maintain device management using Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, profiles, and compliance policies).
- Handle daily IT support requests using an IT service management platform, ensuring incidents and requests are resolved or escalated within agreed service levels.
- Network Troubleshooting:
- Perform basic network troubleshooting, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, patch panels, and routing diagnostics, to support reliable business connectivity.
- Onsite Infrastructure Support:
- Provide hands‑on ("Smart Hands") support for local server rooms, hardware racking, and peripheral devices.
- Hardware Lifecycle:
- In conjunction with the MSP, manage local IT asset inventory, hardware provisioning, and lifecycle management for laptops, mobile devices, and office equipment.
- VIP User Support:
- Provide high‑quality technical support to Executive‑level users and onsite teams with a strong customer‑centric mindset.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5-6 years of proven experience in IT Onsite Support, Desktop Support, or a similar corporate IT environment.
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch (written and spoken) and good command of English (written and spoken).
- Good knowledge of Windows 11 troubleshooting, deployment, and configuration.
- Cloud Management: Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
- Networking: Good understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and experience with basic hardware troubleshooting (Juniper or similar environments).
- ITSM Framework: Strong familiarity with ITSM processes (Incident, Request, Asset Management) and experience using tools like ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, or similar.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem‑solving abilities, structural working habit, and strong communication skills.
