Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking an IT Procurement & Asset Management Specialist to oversee the full procurement cycle for IT hardware and software in Brussels. You will manage asset inventories, licensing, and lifecycle, while coordinating with IT and procurement teams to deliver cost-efficient solutions.

You will leverage SAP, Coupa, CMDB and Power BI to track spend and assets, ensuring compliance with ITIL practices and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end IT procurement including quotations, orders and invoicing.
• Knowledge of license management, asset tracking, and ITIL-based processes.
• Strong analytical abilities and reporting using Excel/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete IT procurement cycle, including quotations, orders, invoicing, and contract follow-up to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and oversee hardware/software lifecycle, stock levels and license usage.
• Oversee mobile and fixed telephony subscriptions, monitor usage, and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Utilize internal systems daily to manage procurement workflows, asset tracking, and supplier communication.
• Identify and implement cost optimization strategies for IT resources and licensing.
• Coordinate with internal procurement and IT teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with standards.

Our client, a leading organization in the energy infrastructure sector, is seeking an IT Procurement & Asset Management Specialist to support their digital workplace operations. This role focuses on managing the end-to-end procurement cycle for hardware and software while optimizing costs and tracking organizational assets.

• Manage the complete IT procurement cycle, including quotations, orders, invoicing, and contract follow-up to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and oversee the hardware and software lifecycle, including stock levels and license usage.
• Oversee mobile and fixed telephony subscriptions by monitoring usage, coordinating with providers, and identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
• Utilize internal systems daily to manage procurement workflows, asset tracking, and communication with suppliers.
• Identify and implement cost optimization strategies for IT resources and licensing.
• Coordinate with internal procurement and IT teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational standards.

• Experience with procurement processes including quotations, purchase orders, GR, invoicing, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in SAP and Coupa for managing procurement workflows and financial tracking.
• Knowledge of CMDB principles and ITIL best practices for asset and service management.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills using Excel and Power BI.
• Practical experience with Omnitracker and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with excellent follow-up capabilities.
• Analytical mindset for cost optimization and the ability to work autonomously on parallel tasks.
• You are fluent in French and Dutch with C1 level of English.
