Join our team as a Technical Procurement Specialist! You’ll have the opportunity to oversee the entire bidding process while implementing effective negotiation strategies. With at least 5 years of experience in the field, you’ll use your data analysis skills to anticipate user needs. If you’re proactive, organized, and fluent in French and Dutch, this position is for you. Become a key player in optimizing procurement and contribute to a long-term strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oversight of the bidding process, adjusting your level of involvement based on the complexity of the projects;
• Implement an appropriate negotiation strategy to identify the most favorable solutions for our client;
• Identify internal users’ procurement needs early on, based on data analysis and regular communication;
• Create an appropriate market opening by accurately assessing internal demand and generating sufficient market interest in a timely manner;
• Update technical and commercial specifications based on expected results;
• Manage active contracts throughout their term, handling claims and considering renegotiations in close collaboration with internal users;
• Define and develop a strategic vision for the long-term procurement of certain categories of goods and services, in accordance with the established procurement plan.

Qualifications

• Holds a master’s degree in Industrial Sciences, Applied Economics, or a related field, and has at least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an industrial setting;
• Is fluent in French and Dutch, with a good understanding of English;
• Has proven expertise in negotiation;
• Is familiar with Coupa and SAP software;
• Has knowledge of procedures related to public tenders, which is essential for the position;
• Has experience in technical procurement, which is an added asset;
• Possesses strong writing skills, particularly regarding the drafting of contractual documents;
• Demonstrates proactivity, assertiveness, diplomacy, and a genuine desire to find effective solutions;
• Demonstrates strong teamwork skills combined with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage stress;
• Is proficient in the MS Office suite and other office software, and uses SAP to manage procurement effectively;
• Holds a Class B driver’s license.
