Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst to connect business needs with technology solutions in Brussels. You will work with stakeholders across CRM, ERP, WMS, and Supply Chain domains, translating requirements into clear specifications and driving improvements in enterprise systems.

The role requires SQL, data analysis, and experience with Power BI/Tableau/Looker, along with fluency in English and Dutch or French. An onsite, full-time position in Brussels is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business systems analysis.
• Strong knowledge of CRM/ERP/WMS and supply chain systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficient in SQL and data analysis.
• Experience with Power BI/Tableau/Looker.
• Familiarity with APIs and system integrations.
• English and Dutch or French fluency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, and requirements within the domain.
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment between needs and capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, and business stakeholders to design and implement technology solutions.
• Validate proposed solutions and ensure they meet requirements and user expectations.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate validation activities.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, system operation manuals, and training materials.
• Provide functional support, user training, and ongoing system administration for key applications.
• Manage and support CRM, Digital Marketing Platforms, Dealer Systems, API integrations, and related apps.
• Provide first-line IT support across hardware and software, including troubleshooting.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of CRM, ERP, WMS, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics or related business systems. Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business impacts, evaluate solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in SQL and database query tools is required for data analysis, troubleshooting, reporting, and validation of business requirements.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar analytics platforms is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, data models, and enterprise application architectures. Basic Python scripting skills for data analysis and automation are a plus.
• Fluency in English and the local market language such as Dutch or French is a must. Chinese language skills are considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and operational requirements within the assigned domain.
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and system capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders to design and implement effective technology solutions.
• Validate proposed solutions and ensure they meet business requirements, operational needs, and user expectations.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate business validation activities, and support successful solution deployment.
• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Develop and maintain business process documentation, system operation manuals, training materials, and user guides.
• Provide functional support, user training, and ongoing system administration for business-critical applications.
• Manage and support key business systems including CRM, Digital Marketing Platforms, Dealer Systems, API integrations, and related business applications.
• Providing first-line IT support across both hardware and software, including troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues as required.
