Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst to connect business needs with technology across enterprise applications including CRM, ERP, and WMS. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, and stakeholders to design and implement solutions in a fast-growing electric vehicle environment.

You will gather requirements, lead UAT, analyze data, and produce documentation and training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of CRM, ERP, WMS, CRM/ERP/WMS knowledge in automotive industry preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder mgmt, and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to drive improvements.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, reporting, and validation.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Familiarity with APIs, data models, enterprise architectures; basic Python scripting a plus.
• Fluency in English and Dutch or French; Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of CRM, ERP, WMS, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics or related business systems. Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business impacts, evaluate solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in SQL and database query tools is required for data analysis, troubleshooting, reporting, and validation of business requirements.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar analytics platforms is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, data models, and enterprise application architectures. Basic Python scripting skills for data analysis and automation are a plus.
• Fluency in English and the local market language such as Dutch or French is a must. Chinese language skills are considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and operational requirements within the assigned domain.
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and system capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders to design and implement effective technology solutions.
• Validate proposed solutions and ensure they meet business requirements, operational needs, and user expectations.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate business validation activities, and support successful solution deployment.
• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Develop and maintain business process documentation, system operation manuals, training materials, and user guides.
• Provide functional support, user training, and ongoing system administration for business-critical applications.
• Manage and support key business systems including CRM, Digital Marketing Platforms, Dealer Systems, API integrations, and related business applications.
• Providing first-line IT support across both hardware and software, including troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues as required.
