Job summary

BYD BeLux in Brussels is seeking a Data & AI Project Analyst to drive data initiatives and deploy AI solutions across all departments. You will identify, prioritize and deliver high-impact projects, reporting to the Country Manager and collaborating across Belgium and Luxembourg.

The role requires 2–5 years in data analysis or project management, proficiency with Power BI and Tableau, advanced Excel, and knowledge of GenAI and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data, business information systems, business analytics or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis or project management.
• Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel; knowledge of GenAI and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Data & reporting: design and roll out consolidated dashboards with real-time indicators.
• Collect, clean and unify data from CRM, ERP and internal files.
• Automate recurring reporting processes.
• AI deployment: monitor tools and use cases relevant for a cross-departmental automotive business.
• Test, select and deploy AI tools (GenAI, automation, predictive analysis).
• Measure impact (time saved, ROI) and report progress.
• Coordinate data & AI projects across departments with IT and external providers.
• Train teams and promote AI best practices across the organization.

As Data & AI Project Analyst, you are the central point of contact to identify, prioritize and deliver high-impact data and AI projects, whichever department asks for them. You report to the Country Manager and work across Belgium and Luxembourg with Sales, Aftersales, Marketing, Finance, HR and more.

As Data & AI Project Analyst, you are the central point of contact to identify, prioritize and deliver high-impact data and AI projects, whichever department asks for them. You report to the Country Manager and work across Belgium and Luxembourg with Sales, Aftersales, Marketing, Finance, HR and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Data & reporting (30%)
• Design and roll out consolidated dashboards (for example sales and aftersales reporting) giving real-time access to key indicators.
• Collect, clean and make reliable the data coming from our different systems (CRM, ERP, internal files).
• Automate recurring reporting processes.
• AI solutions deployment (30%)
• Keep a close watch on AI tools and use cases relevant for an automotive national sales company.
• Test, select and deploy AI tools (automation, GenAI, predictive analysis) based on the needs identified.
• Measure the impact of the solutions deployed (time saved, ROI).
• Cross-functional project support (25%)
• Support data and AI projects in any department, based on the priorities set together with management.
• Coordinate stakeholders (business teams, IT, external providers).
• Follow up planning and report on project progress.
• AI culture & training (15%)
• Train and support the teams in using the tools deployed.
• Centralize and share AI best practices across the organization.
• Raise awareness in all departments of automation opportunities.

Your profile

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in data, business information systems, business analytics or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years in data analysis, business analysis or project management.
• Tools: Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel. Good knowledge of AI tools (GenAI, automation tools such as Power Automate or Zapier).
• Languages: French and/or Dutch, plus professional English (Belgian and Luxembourg context, and exchanges with headquarters).
• Autonomy: Able to work independently with a wide range of contacts, from the field to management.
• Mindset: Service-minded, a good teacher and a self-starter.

What This Role Is Not

• It is not an executive assistant position (agenda management, administrative tasks).
• It is not a purely technical data engineering or AI development role.
• It is not attached to a single department: priorities are set across the organization.
