CellCarta Belgium invites applications for an Associate Assay Development Scientist in Histopathology. You will assist the Assay Development Unit in optimizing and validating IHC, RISH, FISH, and CTC assays for clinical trials, collaborating with QA, RA, and Clinical Sample Testing teams.

The role emphasizes project coordination, data analysis, and report preparation, with a strong focus on documentation, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Biochemistry preferred).
• Basic knowledge of histology and automated immunohistochemical techniques.
• Strong English, writing and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new areas.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Assay Development team through all project phases including start-up, design, scheduling, and reporting.
• Coordinate transition of experiments to the lab and support laboratory execution.
• Maintain proactive communication with internal stakeholders to ensure transparency.
• Provide updates and collaborate to meet project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards for intended use.
