CellCarta is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for its Genomics unit to perform molecular tests and support DNA/RNA workflows in a clinical research setting. The role emphasizes accurate data handling, documentation, and adherence to quality standards.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical/Biomedical Laboratory Technology or Biochemistry, with proficiency in Dutch and English and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Professional bachelor's degree in Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Biomedical Laboratory Technology, or Biochemistry.
• Prior experience in a molecular laboratory is a plus.
• Able to use a computer (Word, Excel) and a database, or willing to learn.
• Flexible, communicative, and enjoys working in a team.
• Works within a quality system (ISO 15189:2012), requiring accuracy and the ability to work in a planned and documented manner.
• Able to express ideas fluently, both orally and in writing, in Dutch and English.
• Strong reporting skills for processing results.
• Flexible and enthusiastic working attitude, with decisiveness.

Responsabilités

• Perform specialized molecular analyses of varying complexity on different platforms
• Control the operation of analysis equipment and report malfunctions
• Monitor lab processes and record data in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Prepare analyses, equipment, and samples according to testing requirements
• Document the laboratory work performed
• Assist with data interpretation
