We are setting up a new finance organisation for our group of four entities (Belgium, France, Italy and Spain), and we are looking for an intern to help us shape it. Co-supervised by our COO and CEO, you will learn how a multi-entity group runs its finance while making a real contribution to it.
Availability: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Brussels
Main missions:
- Map how we work today : Document how finance and administration run across our four entities (invoicing, payments, monthly close, cash follow-up, timesheets and research cost reporting), and interview the users to identify pain points, manual steps and duplicates.
- Draft the target processes : Propose the future processes, built around Odoo, and a finance calendar for the group, for validation by management.
- Build first templates : For example, a cash forecast and a monthly reporting pack.
- Integrate the research project tracking : Our tracking of EU research projects is in place and works well; help integrate it better into our finance flows and automate it.
- Support the roll‑out : Starting with a pilot in Belgium, write user guides, help colleagues get started with the new processes and implement one or two automation quick wins.

- Currently completing a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting, management or business engineering.
- A taste for processes and tools, and the ability to bring structure to complex flows.
