Becquerel Institute in Brussels seeks an intern to help shape a new finance organisation across Belgium, France, Italy and Spain. You will co-supervise with the COO and CEO and gain hands-on exposure to multi-entity finance workflows.

You will document current processes, draft target processes built around Odoo, develop templates, and assist rollout including user guides and quick wins, while learning about reporting and automation.

Qualifications

• Currently completing a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting, management or business engineering.
• Taste for processes and tools, ability to bring structure to complex flows.
• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of Odoo, Power Query/Power BI or Python is an asset.
• Fluent in English, other European languages (French/Italian/Spanish) are assets.
• Organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Rigorous, curious and confident talking to people at all levels.
• Fast learner who can work autonomously while being a team player.
• Sense of humour appreciated.

Responsabilités

• Map how we work today across four entities and interview users to identify pain points.
• Draft the target processes built around Odoo and create a finance calendar.
• Build first templates such as cash forecast and monthly reporting pack.
• Integrate research project tracking into finance flows and automate where possible.
• Support the roll-out with user guides and quick wins; assist colleagues during rollout.
