VS Consulting Group in Brussels is seeking a Finance Consultant with initial experience in accounting, controllling or FP&A. As an official Odoo partner, you’ll work on finance transformation projects and support clients with reporting, closing, payroll, and audits.

You will collaborate with start-ups and scale-ups, delivering value to C-level stakeholders while leveraging MS Office, ERP tools, and AI in a dynamic, business-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• First successful experience in accounting, controllling or FP&A.
• Big4 experience is a plus.
• Good communicator, fluent in French and English (Dutch is a plus).
• MS Office, ERP tools, AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT).
• Knowledge of Odoo is a strong asset.
• Excellent presentation skills for C-level stakeholders.
• Combine strong technical expertise with a client-focused approach.
• Team player, able to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Working permit for Belgium is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Manage accounting from A to Z (AP, AR, bank reconciliations, GL).
• Manage/coordinate periodic closing.
• Payroll booking and reconciliation.
• Reporting and dashboard preparation.
• Assist clients in audits (financial, tax, internal).
• Collaborate on finance transformation projects and automation of accounting/FP&A processes.

We are hiring a Finance Consultant - to join our team in Belgium!

In order to reinforce our consulting team in Brussels, we are looking for a Finance Consultant with a first successful experience in accounting, controllling or FP&A. Knowledge of Odoo is a plus.

You will be part of VS Consulting team that is working closely with CEO’s of start-ups and scale-ups to address critical challenges and transform finance process. Typical projects that you will be working on include :

Who we look for :

• Proven experience as Finance Professional
• First successful experience in finance (big4 is a plus)
• Good communicator, you express yourself fluently in French, and English (Dutch is plus)
• MS office (Excel, Power point, word), ERP tools, AI (Claude, ChatGPT,..)
• Knowledge of Odoo is a strong asset
• Excellent presentation skills since you are dealing with C-level stakeholders
• Combine strong technical expertise with a client focused approach
• Team player, able to work effectively with all stakeholders (internal and external)
• Working permit for Belgium is mandatory
