Job summary

Wooclap offers a 6-month full-time internship in Brussels, supporting the finance team under the VP Finance and the Financial Controller. You will help prepare monthly reports, conduct financial analyses, manage accounts receivable, assist budgeting, and participate in ad-hoc projects to improve finance operations.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s in finance or accounting, fluent in French with strong English, and proficient in Excel/Sheets.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Extremely professional (confidentiality, writing skills per email, …).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google, particularly Excel/Sheets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of the monthly financial reports.
• Assist with financial analysis (total billings, product recognised, etc.).
• Assist with accounts receivable, including processing invoices.
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning, including assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and tracking actual spending against budgeted amounts.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by the Financial Controller.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including filing and archiving financial documents.
• Documentation of the finance processes.
• Assist with other finance-related tasks as needed.

Job description

As a Finance officer - Right-hand of VP finance you will provide support to the finance department by assisting with various tasks related to financial operations, analysis, and reporting. You will work under the supervision of Xavier, our Financial Controller, and Kevin, our VP Finance, and will be responsible for tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance activities.

Your main duties would include

• Assist with the preparation of the monthly financial reports

• Assist with financial analysis (total billings, product recognised,etc.)

• Assist with accounts receivable, including processing invoices

• Assist with budgeting and financial planning, including assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and tracking actual spending against budgeted amounts

• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned by the Financial controller
