Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a Field Service Engineer/Technical Lead to join our Brussels-based Infrastructure Services Team. The role focuses on onsite, hands-on support for hardware, software, and end-user devices, with coordination of third-party vendors and AV installations.
You will troubleshoot across devices and networks, support live events, and validate deployments while ensuring high-quality customer service in a dynamic, international environment.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering onsite IT support for hardware and software issues.
- Ability to coordinate third-party vendors and AV installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of BIOS/OS configuration and device provisioning is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Participate in troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Provide general onsite hands-on support for technology, equipment, and devices at customer locations.
- Perform hardware changes, server/storage reboots, and post-deployment validation.
- Provide onsite escorts for third parties and coordinate with vendors.
- Assist with live events and conferencing systems onsite.
- Address network and compute issues in collaboration with infrastructure vendors.
- Troubleshoot user devices and software (e.g., MS Office).
