Abbott’s Infectious Disease division seeks an Account Manager to cover Antwerp, Limburg, and parts of Flemish Brabant and Brussels. This field-based role requires regular travel and collaboration with hospitals, laboratories and public/private sectors to expand point-of-care testing and grow Abbott’s diagnostic solutions.

You will drive market development, manage your territory end-to-end, and build long-term partnerships while reporting via CRM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
• Proven healthcare sales experience, ideally in diagnostics.
• Strong hospital and laboratory environment understanding.
• Record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel across regions.

Responsabilités

• Drive market development and build strong customer relationships across territory to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Lead the execution and growth of Abbott’s Rapid & Molecular Diagnostics portfolio across Antwerp, Limburg, and parts of Flemish Brabant and Brussels.
• Manage territory and customer portfolio end-to-end, ensuring sustainable growth while optimizing costs and margins.
• Engage diverse healthcare stakeholders (hospitals, laboratories, emergency services, public/private sectors) to deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain deep product and market expertise, representing Abbott at congresses, events, and customer presentations.
• Identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity, translating insights into new business opportunities.
• Strengthen Abbott’s brand presence by building long-term strategic partnerships and ensuring accurate CRM management and reporting.
