Abbott Laboratories in Belgium is seeking an experienced Technical Application Specialist (Benelux) to provide expert technical and application support for Abbott's molecular diagnostic assays, systems, and solutions across the Benelux region, with occasional support to France. You will partner with sales, service, and global experts to drive customer success.

The role requires strong molecular biology knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train customers and distributors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Molecular Biology or related science.
• Experience in technical support, applications, or product specialist roles.
• Strong understanding of molecular biology techniques (e.g., nucleic acid extraction, PCR).
• Fluency in English and French required; Dutch working level preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide first- and second-level technical and application support to customers.
• Investigate technical issues, diagnose root causes, and deliver troubleshooting solutions.
• Develop and deliver technical training programs for customers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Support product demonstrations, evaluations, user groups, congresses and exhibitions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing, and coordinate cross-functional activities for issue resolution.
