Job summary

Elia Belgium is seeking an external contractor to provide technical and operational support for customer connection-study follow-up within the Connection Office. You will coordinate inputs, document management, and data quality across internal teams under guidance of the Elia service owner.

The role focuses on drafting and maintaining documentation, tracking milestones, and communicating with stakeholders to enable efficient study progression while adhering to Elia processes.

Qualifications

• Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Proficient in Dutch and French; professional English required.
• Experience in technical coordination, customer operations, or document/contract management.
• Ability to understand technical information and identify data quality gaps.
• Structured, accurate, deadline-driven with attention to document quality.
• Able to coordinate stakeholders in a complex technical environment.
• Customer-oriented communication while upholding Elia's processes.

Responsibilities

• Register and update customer connection-study files in operational tools.
• Verify completeness of technical, customer and project information to start or continue studies.
• Coordinate inputs and deliverables with Elia stakeholders.
• Monitor milestones and report risks or delays to the service owner.
• Prepare offers, connection-contract docs, and technical annexes based on templates.
• Perform first-level data quality checks before escalation.
• Ensure version control and storage of documents per Elia processes.
• Support customer communications with status updates and follow-ups.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvements.
