Customer Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead customer development projects from concept to delivery. In this role, you will ensure that products are developed on time, meet customer and regulatory requirements, and are the result of strong collaboration across cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define a clear project vision, objectives, and success criteria, aligned with customer and business goals.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan with defined timelines, milestones, deliverables, resource requirements, and key dependencies.
- Engage customers and stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned and communication remains transparent throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable project deliverables and ensure full compliance with regulations and quality requirements.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes, escalating critical issues and decisions when required.
- Lead and motivate cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, while driving issue resolution and stakeholder alignment.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reporting, following internal and regulatory standards.
- Monitor performance and drive on‑time, on‑budget delivery while promoting a positive, results‑oriented culture.
- Lead project governance activities, including project reviews, milestone assessments, stage‑gate readiness reviews, and management reporting.
- Coordinate product industrialization and production readiness activities to ensure successful transfer from development into commercial manufacturing.
- Manage project‑related product, process, supplier, and customer‑driven changes, ensuring appropriate impact assessment, documentation, and approvals.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of five years' experience in Project management.
- Experience in product development processes (design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing).
- Strong knowledge of project management principles; PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience leading cross‑functional project teams in a matrix organization.
- Fluent communication skills in English – Dutch is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industries and GMP‑regulated environments is considered a strong advantage.
- Experience with risk management, project governance, and stage‑gate development processes is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
- Practical ability to read and interpret technical product drawings.
- Proficient in MS Office and company‑specific software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
