Job summary

Axis Group is seeking a Credit Collection Specialist in Belgium to validate and process claims, verify document completeness, and analyze policy terms. You will manage recovery procedures, oversee payments and settlements, and liaise with policyholders and multiple internal teams.

The role requires strong communication skills, precise attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines. Fluency in Dutch with good French or English is essential; a hybrid format is possible after

Responsibilities

• Review and process claims and verify documents for completeness.
• Analyze insurance coverage and policy terms to support collections.

• Review and approve invoices related to debt collection and calculate settlements.
• Maintain contact with policyholders and provide support; collaborate with Finance, Underwriting, Debt Collection and Sales.
• Maintain contact with international entities within the organization.

In this challenging interim assignment, you’ll be responsible for carefully validating and processing claims files. With your analytical skills and attention to detail, you’ll ensure that all processes related to recovery and collections run smoothly. • You will carefully review and process claims;
• You will verify that all documents are complete and comply with the requirements;
• You will analyze insurance coverage and policy terms;
• You will strictly follow procedures for recovery and collection;
• You oversee payments and claims settlements;
• You review and approve invoices related to debt collection;
• You calculate and validate the claims settlements to be paid out;
• You maintain contact with policyholders to provide them with support;
• You work closely with internal departments such as Finance, Underwriting, Debt Collection, and Sales;
• You also maintain contact with international entities within the organization.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or has gained comparable work experience;
• Excellent analytical skills and can quickly summarize and process information;
• Decisive and works with precision and attention to detail;
• Can effectively set priorities within a dynamic work environment;
• Strong affinity for numbers and administrative tasks;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Remains calm and focused under pressure and when working with deadlines;
• Fluent in Dutch and has a good command of French and/or English.
