Job summary

A public-sector IT organisation based in Brussels designs, develops and runs information systems and technology infrastructure for a range of public administrations and institutions. It is carrying out an organisational transformation programme covering its structures, processes and systems.

The Transformation Office steers, governs and coordinates all programmes and projects in this portfolio. The role supports the Head of Transformation Office and ensures that the information used for decision-making is accurate, reliable and properly consolidated.

Key responsibilities

• Run governance and prepare Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings
• Track progress across projects and programmes
• Consolidate and monitor budgets
• Manage the roadmap and the integrated plan
• Identify and follow up on risks, dependencies and trade-off decisions
• Produce steering dashboards and reports

Profile

Education and experience

• Master’s degree in management, engineering or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience in PMO, programme management, portfolio management or transformation
• Recent experience as a Digital Transformation Manager (expert level)

Technical skills

• Programme and transformation portfolio management: PMBOK and Agile (confirmed level, recent practice)
• Budget consolidation, integrated planning and reporting: BI and MS-Project (confirmed level, recent practice), MS Office (expert level)
• Analysis and structuring of the organisational impact of a transformation programme
• Systems thinking and the ability to integrate several workstreams at once
• Ability to influence and work with IT teams, business teams, sponsors and senior management
